We all happened to lose self-control in front of a full table of delicious food and then face the physical consequences of overeating. During the holidays, when the tables are full with homemade meals, throughout the day you can easily cross the line with the food.

Chew a piece of ginger or drink a ginger tea. It has been proven that ginger is an effective natural remedy for nausea, flatulence, bloating and abdominal pain. For fastest results, just take a piece of ginger and chew it. If you can’t stand the strong taste of ginger, you don’t have to eat it raw, but you can prepare for yourself a cup of ginger tea.
Treat yourself with mint tea. Take the advice your grandmother and mother gave you-they are right about this. This tea is the savior from abdominal pain, bloating and cramps.
Or chamomile tea. If you don’t like the mint tea, you can replace it with chamomile tea. The calming effect of the chamomile will relax you and your belly.
Go for a walk. Do not lie down immediately after having a heavy meal, but instead go for a relaxing walk. The move will help the body to handle easier and faster with the consumed food.

Start your day with water and lemon. In a glass full with warm water squeeze one lemon and drink this mix. This mixture improves digestion and can help you if you are bloated.
Do not skip breakfast. Maybe you think that in the morning after overeating it’s better to skip breakfast. But, it’s much better and also recommended to eat something easy, like a banana, yogurt, baked bread with a thin layer of peanut butter or honey, apple and so on.
