Аte to much food? These things can help you fееl better…

We all happened to lose self-control in front of a full table of delicious food and then face the physical consequences of overeating. During the holidays, when the tables are full with homemade meals, throughout the day you can easily cross the line with the food.

In that case, you can use these following tips that will help you feel better right after the overeating:
Chew a piece of ginger or drink a ginger tea. It has been proven that ginger is an effective natural remedy for nausea, flatulence, bloating and abdominal pain. For fastest results, just take a piece of ginger and chew it. If you can’t stand the strong taste of ginger, you don’t have to eat it raw, but you can prepare for yourself a cup of ginger tea.

Treat yourself with mint tea. Take the advice your grandmother and mother gave you-they are right about this. This tea is the savior from abdominal pain, bloating and cramps.

Or chamomile tea. If you don’t like the mint tea, you can replace it with chamomile tea. The calming effect of the chamomile will relax you and your belly.

Go for a walk. Do not lie down immediately after having a heavy meal, but instead go for a relaxing walk. The move will help the body to handle easier and faster with the consumed food.

The next day you can use these little tips and tricks:

Start your day with water and lemon. In a glass full with warm water squeeze one lemon and drink this mix. This mixture improves digestion and can help you if you are bloated.

Do not skip breakfast. Maybe you think that in the morning after overeating it’s better to skip breakfast. But, it’s much better and also recommended to eat something easy, like a banana, yogurt, baked bread with a thin layer of peanut butter or honey, apple and so on. Do not punish yourself with hunger, because if you skip breakfast, it is likely again to overdo with food later in the day.

Drink water. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water to help your body handle all the food you imported in your body.

Run away from the salt. Salt stimulates the body to retain more water, so the more you use, you will feel more bloated. If you want to eat some snacks you can always reach for unsalted nuts, almonds or popcorn.

Eat white rice for lunch. White rice is easily digested by the body, calms the stomach and is especially useful if you have diarrhea, which often occurs after overeating.
